Hate to say it guys...

I guess one of the reasons why my G hasnt really gotten any attention lately or new mods is because i will most likely be picking up a 2008 BMW 335i from a really good friend of mine by May.

In May my friend and i will be graduating and he is an international student from Singapore and he doesnt want to ship it back so he told me he was willing to sell it to me for about 18k-15k its a 2008 BMW 335i less than 40k miles with no warranty.

My brother will be needing a car next year so he'll probably take the Nissan Rouge from home and i will probably be parting out my G and returning it back to stock for my parents and i ll take the 335i to Nebraska. i figure this is the best choice since the AWD will be better than a RWD back in Jersey.

Its still in the works but its most likely going to happen...

Damn . . .lost another one to the dark side.

To be honest though, I gotta say, a BMW without a warranty can be a mixed blessing. I hope you're getting a good one.

Hope everything goes well for you...

Now...how much are you letting the R2C, grounding kit, strut tower and CF engine cover go?

I would recommend staying with Infiniti for better value and reliability. I speak from several experiences...

Good luck CC. hopefully you'll stick around here though. Owning an 02 BMW 745Li w/ no warranty left some very bad feelings about ever owning another out-of-warranty Bimmer, but they're great cars when everything is functioning well. The 335i is a sweet ride, keep us posted about what you end up doing.

of course i ll stick around, the G is staying within the family

we just need another car and the price that is being offered one hell of a deal, its almost tempting to pick it up and sell it off for a profit.

the warranty is the only downside about it but since hes had it there hasnt been any problems and its been maintained very well.

as for a part out that probably wont happen till summer if i get the 335i lol

WOW! Good deal but wish you would keep the G. Maybe you can turn it around and sell it and make some money that way you can just buy another G.

I thought those had big time issues with the fuel pumps and there is no solution but to keep replacing it? It that true or an older model?

That's a steal for an 08 335 tho!

FWIW, Nebraska does not get a lot of snow. Half my family lives right smack in the middle of the state and they don't get much snow. You probably get more in Jersey then they do there. My aunt makes it around with 0 problems in her RWD Mustang.. also you will have better luck servicing an Infiniti there than BMW. I have spent more than enough time in that state, it sucks haha. But the weather is very mild which is nice. Almost better off giving the BMW to your parents.

Whatever you choose to do, good luck!!

True enough, but I would say that your particular experiences with your G have been neither typical or common.
