I just installed the Stillen G3...loving it!

Also, there was a SNAFU with the order so for that, I was given a GTR start button at the cost of shipping and installed that.

Awesome thing about the Stillen G3 is that, while under normal throttle, you can't really tell there is intake installed. The only reason I like this is because I am married and the wife is always saying, "you better not make your car louder!" Other best thing...she hates it when I put the foot down so the 2 times a week she is in the car with me, I drive like miss Daisy is in the car and she will never know what I get to enjoy when she is not there.

Yeah guys, I am trying to buy some G37 19's from a dude on CL for CHEAP!! Only $400 and I cant figure out a way to do it without the wifey figuring it out!

 

Get them!!! That's cheap! With tires too?! And TPMs? Buy them and maybe sell your old ones to the shop!? Or leave them with a friend until you sell them!? Ÿôū on stock 18" or 17"?! I highly doubt she notices it!

 

Stock 18's, yeah she wont notice but the tires the guy says are bad, plus if I get them I would want to Powdercoat them black. She would totally notice that! So yeah $400 for basically just the rims. I didnt ask but I bet the TPMS are still installed.....

 

Tell her you found a guy that wants to trade, that he really likes your "stock" wheels, worth a shot Or that the guy leased his G and has to return it to stock form so he's willing to trade down for free

 

I like your lease idea, although she would probably notice the missing $400.

lolol i play the wifey all the time but she's cathing on man. got 7gs back for tax return and i spent about 3 grand in about 15 minutes-oops is what i told her loll

 

^^ Nice dude, I was hoping to get back a nice chunk this year, but we didn't get back much at all. Yeah my wife could care less about cars, she sees me add stuff and then a year later sell the car. It pisses her off so now she wont let me spend a dime on this one. Gotta convince her that this one is gonna stick!
