^yup, as we all agreed, it seems that 07 was the only year when they produced a separate Auto sports model 08+ was journey with sports pkg, but these are technicalities since u still get the same things with pkg as you did with the 07 S model

so in 07, you could get an S in auto or manual

in 08+ the S is the 6MT which is RWD only.

You can get an auto with sports package, which gets you suspension, front clip, and S badge etc?

I see PLENTY of 08's with the S badge on the trunk for sale, they are auto with paddle shifters.

Notice all but one of them listed at '6mt' are actually auto's with paddle shifters, if you check the shifter in the pics.

^^ I agree. I think regardless of how it was worded in the manufacturer's info/documentation, the net result was an automatic with all the Sport features and an S badge on the trunk. IMHO, if you have the features, then it's an S model; anything else is purely academic. There is no distinction between a Journey with S, and a straight S. The only possible differences between them was in regards to the wood trim, which was not available with Sport for either the 6MT or the 5AT; every other standard feature (besides those specific to Sport) is identical between the Journey and the Sport.
