Noob ? about hp gain.

I am new to the G. I recently purchased a 08 g35s sedan with 6mt. I love the car but I am a little disapointed with the stock sound. I purchased a takeda long tube kit and I would like to compliment it with either a catback or hfc's. My main ? is which will make more power-stock exhaust with hfc's or stock cats with aftermarket exhaust? I am aware that either will be a small gain but which will b more. I will be doing the revup soon to follow. Thanks in advance.

I agree with E-Ticket. Getting HFC will open up your pipes a lot more than just an exhaust.

Whichever one you add first always adds the most power.

A little information, if you have an exhaust all ready, adding an intake adds less power then if you were to add the intake with no exhaust.

Why? Because our computers all have set parameters/ limitations which they perform within- without a customer tune.

The result is that when the computer adjusts for the addition of a performance part, it can only adjust so much more when additional parts are added- this is of course with the stock ECU.

This is part of the reason why people see such great variances on parts when installed on different cars- and why aftermarket companies R&D on stock cars.

Florida has no sniffer test. Will the RTP's make it unbareable with cabin drone?
