Spring swap

Spring swap
Just picked up a 2008 sedan AWD and did not like the wheel gap so purchased the Eibach Pro kit and thought it would be an easy DIY. My impression is the back is a real easy but the front not so much, I have been looking at some shop manuals and have a copy of Haynes from my 03 and looking at different DIY's , just wondering if anyone has done this on an AWD and what DIY did they use.
Thanks

The DIY on the X should be about the same as the RWDs. I changed my springs along w/ front & rear SPC camber arms w/ rear toe bolt kit and did the whole thing in about 5 hours. The only real PITA was the rear toe bolt slot modification. This wasn't hard once iI used a dremel cut-off wafer to elongate the hole. The infamous lower front strut bolt that gives a lot of folks trouble (120 ft lbs torque) broke free easily for me w/ some PB blast then using a 2 foot breaker bar. Be sure to use only 6 point sockets (preferably impact type sockets rather the than thin wall chrome sockets as these tend to snap under higher torque) I used spring compressors loaned from Autozone w/ an air impact gun, worked well and since my new springs had flatter coils it wasn't scary compressing them down. Just be sure to grease the threads on the spring compressor studs and don't spend too much time on one side, just go back and forth about a dozen times and you'll be fine. These would be a bit scary for a spring w/ just a few sharp angled coiles, but Eibachs & my B&G springs have flatter coils to save you some drama
Also place your jack stands on the frame rails (just inside the tabs for the factory scissor jack). HTHs & good luck
