Putting stock springs back on

I love my car how low it is now, had it sitting on eibach springs. But the aligminet always was an issue. The shop i took it to did the toe on the front left the camber as it was and it was not eating up my front tires was really happy with that.

But the rear was a different story the camber was out and so was the toe. They had adjusted the best they can but went through tires in about 6 months. So i ended up buying camber arms and toe bolts, took it 2 different shops still coudent get the aligment striaght. When they do the camber toe goes out so they ended up doing the toe and camber is out a bit. Tired of throwing money on tires so i decided im just going to put back in the stock springs.

This- Im at 10K miles with my drop- did new tires at same time- and they are not even close to wearing out. Im thinking I should get at least 20K out of them

Where did you take it to get aligned?

Whats the wear rating on your tires?

So you have aftermarket camber arms and toe bolts and still couldn't get a good alignment? No springs drop that low lol you need to find a new shop

^this. Any decent shop that knows how to adjust SPC arms & toe bolts would be able to get alignment spot on w/ a mild Eibach drop. Keep looking for a better shop, no need to go back to driving a 4x4

They probably did not dremel slots for the rear toe bolts. I have Eibach with f/r spc kits and my alignment is well within stock range.

just take it to a place that gives you a lifetime alignment. thats what i plan to do with after i install my coils this weekend.

never heard of these type of problems with such a mild drop.

did you get your money back since they couldnt keep it aligned?

This is probably what happened since the avg. alignment shop wouldn't mess w/ the hassle of elongating the original toe bolt slot. If that's the case it'd be a bit tough to get the toe in spec, although w/ an Eibach drop the toe should still be close.

The rear camber arms have plenty of adjustability to correct the negative camber. However, without the toe bolts having more adjustability, you cannot zero the toe. The toe bolt kit absolutely requires you to dremel out longer slots for more travel--just replacing the stock toe bolt with the kit does absolutely nothing.

It is easy to do yourself if you are so inclined. This is the DIY that i used and it applies to our cars as well.

The toe bolt kit comes with the template. You only need to elongate the inner slots (2 per side).

I used the same DIY, found it MUCH easier to use a thin cutoff wafer wheel, much easier to use the dremel perpendicular to the slot, I tried the metal cutting bit and I dulled it quick and they're like $15 a pop
