Need new rotors and pads, what are good aftermarket

Looking for some feedback. Wifes 08 G35X needs new front rotors and pads, I would like to buy new rear pads at the same time.

We live in BC Canada but get items shipped to our US postal address, our weather here is rainy and cooler in Pacific Northwest and we subject the vehicle to alot of mountain braking coming downhill from our home each day from 400 metres above sea level.

I am looking for slotted rotor and decent pads. OEM pads are getting us around 25KM and front rotors have been turned and are done now at roughly 45k miles (having been replaced once already) Wife does use the manual mode to assist in braking

I have heard good things about Brakemotive's rotors and pads, Hawk get good feedback as well as Stoptech, I am looking for a deal as we will unload the car next March.

See here, there's an extensive thread about it:

A friend of mine swears by EBC drilled/slotted rotors and yellowstuff pads on his Golf R32, he wore the stock brakes out fast and warped 3 pairs of generic auto store brakes before making the switch. Hasn't has any issues since. I almost made the switch when my brakes warped but the dealer offered to install the shields mentioned in the TSB free if I replaced them there (brakes were $300 for front axles, out of warranty regarding the TSB which sucked). Also, my cousin has Axxis pads on his Z and they feel pretty nice but make an absurd amount of dust. Not sure which specific pad he has though, I am sure they make less dusty ones.

Also lots of threads to poke through on here as well. Good luck.

I also have a 08 X and recently bought Stoptech drilled and slotted fronts with Hawk HPS pads. Definitely happy with the combination.

Total cost should be around ~300+.

I live in Denver where we also have colder temps, rain and snow along with steep mountain driving.

Just bought power stop cross drilled and akebono premium ceramic pads. Found them cheaper on amazon compared to tire rack with prime 2 day shipping. Just use the right part numbers and find a reputable shop to install them for you.

I had them for about 4 days and stopping power is so much better than OEM rotors/pads.
