diesel g37?

The service rep at the dealer just told me there's a diesel powered g37 coming out... anyone ever hear of it?

He also said the new designs are coming out this year...

Yep, Mercedes diesel probably, and a new generation. I think its a bit overdue the current one went on sale in late 2006. Also they will need a new car to stay competitive with the much lighter and more fuel efficient new 3 series and ATS.

The Diesel G could possibly bring me back to this respectable motor manufacturer.

^ Depends in the US it fluctuates with Premium, in Europe nope.

The G22d probably will be like ~200hp

Oh and diesel engines tend to last a loooong time. Look at those old diesel Benzes. My neighbor has one with about 400k miles and still running strong.

Yep, that's about it in a nutshell.

A 200hp number is far less significant than that wondrous feeling of instant torque on tap that a diesel provides. Me likey!

Torque should be sweet, isn't there a diesel/hybrid in the works. Get a good rear end, tires and maybe a trans brake and harness and you have a sweet stock drag machine
