Warping trim piece

Anyone else is getting this as well? I used 3m 80 adhesive but it got out within two weeks. Checked online and the part number was superseded by a new number so im guessing they have an updated version. Ugh i hope the dash doesn't follow.

Here's the other side. You can see a little bit popping out already.

Looks like it popped out of it's place! shouldn't be hard to fix it.I've had something like this but in different area. I just took the trim apart and had to snap it back in place.

You can not pop it back in. The vinyl is glued on the plastic. It bothers me a little since my knee tends to hit that spot lol. Heres a pic from an ebay listing that was selling it.

I have a 2007 g35x, same problem... I just ignore it for now. But I've got the common warping piece on the tach-cover (left side). I might get a bug up my rear and fix them both at some point. Is it really that easy to just pop it back into place?

I got similar issue on both side. I tried to pop it out and push it back in but solved NOTHING. Something needs to be fixed other than poping the plastic. Since it is warp, it either needs to be replaced or shrink back to its original shape.

I came to accept the minor problems Infiniti ignores..... its the major stuff that upsets me... like the rattle under hard acceleration, loud compressor...

Where are you people getting that you can pop it back in? It's held on by glue.
