08 g35x sedan lowered on bc racing coilovers
To start off. i apologize if this has been asked, but i've been looking for hours, and have not come up with results.
i have a 2008 g35x sedan non sport. i have 20x9 wheels. (thank you forums for helping me find the right tire and offset). I recently got bc racing coilovers. I had it brought to the shop and when he lower i believed he lowered all the coilovers to the same "length" but on the ground it seems that the front end is a litter higher than the rear.
I have the same wheels all around (Due to the all wheel drive)
My question is, because I have the awd system, can i lower the front a little bit so its lower than the back? (not by much), but the front is slightly more elevated than the rears. maybe 1/4"ish. I really don't want to mess up my differential at all.
Im assuming since the wheels are all the same, then its all good, shouldn't mess up the differential, but will one side lower than the other mess it up as well? I'd like the front a little lower than the rear.
thanks for your help.

The fronts will always look like it sits higher even if they're dropped equally on all four corners, mainly because the fender line is cut higher to allow for more steering clearance.
That said, you can lower the fronts to give it a bit more rake. Take note though that this effectively changes the balance of the car to be even more front-heavy, neutralizing one of the great benefits of the G's F-R balance and helps contribute to its otherwise good driving dynamics.

Thanks for your quick response. I guess that makes sense. I am no car expert. And I'd take your advice. I do have to drive in the car in the winter so maybe I shouldn't lower the front any lower than the rear.
Thanks!
Thanks!
