Not sure exactly what your mean. They are both sedans.
Pic 1 is my 2007G35X and pic 2 is my 2011G37S 6MT.

I think the new bumper's style matches the Sport Front Bumper on the 07-09 cars.

So, can anyone please point me in the direction of someone who has retrofitted a "new" sedan bumper to the "old" sedan?

Thank you.
I've been here a while now and I don't recall anyone swapping the rear bumpers...just the front.

Haha, thought they were the same car , didn't even bother to look at the emblems.

I'm willing to bet they fit the same, there's no difference in the frame between the two.

Thanks for the posts.

The whole point is that I am NOT willing to bet.
I want to make sure, before I buy the new bumper, so I don't get stuck with it if it doesn't fit.

With that said, can someone point me in the direction of someone who has already retrofitted a 2010+ bumper to a 07-09 car?

The new bumper is part # 85022-1nf1h.

Thanks.

Just look up the two FSM's, here and on myg37. You can compare the mounting points for the two bumpers and go from there.

dude clearly no one here has done it so u have a few options left: try myg37.com, forget the swap, or risk it and try it and it would probably fit fine else try to sell it

You could also look for a very cheap damaged bumper from a wrecking yard and see if it fits.

So . . . you want to do something that apparently no one has ever done, but you don't want to incur any risk while doing it.

How reasonable is that?

Can anyone confirm that the 2010+ sedan rear bumper will retrofit to the 2007-2009 G sedans?
Here is the part number I want to use for the NON-sensor rear bumper: 85022-1NF0H
Thank you.

Final answer: the bumper will fit. You will have to get the reshaped bumper absorber/support foam pieces both left and right.
