Ignoring any mileage readout given by your car, what was the difference in the odometer readings between your fill-ups, and how many gallons of gasoline were added to fill the tank?

Am I crazy (quite possible) or is G420 telling us that he drives 12 miles per day and has to refill, from being near empty, in 5 days?
That's just 60 miles per tank or about about 3.5mpg.

No, I think your math is correct there, but I don't really believe it is actually occurring. My guess is that there is simply an erroneous indication somewhere. Either the tank isn't being filled completely, the gauge is misreading, the neighbor is siphoning gas, etc. etc. If the car was actually running that poorly, it would be throwing codes all over the place. Based on his screen name, I'm still wondering if this is just a troll.

If you are serious about solving whatever "problem" your car has, then you might just simply answer the questions that are asked (ie. posts # 3,4,5) from people trying to help you. Otherwise, given that your described symptoms are so completely over the top, it does become a very real possibility that you're trolling here. Sorry if that's not the case, but it does happen.

Those would have to be quite the filters to make a 15+mpg improvement.

Well, looks like you're obviously not serious about answering questions or facilitating any real problem solving here.

Smelling more like a troll in here all the time guys.

I had the same issue, couldn't figure out what it was, my sparks plugs weren't due to be replaced according to the service manual, my mechanic recommended that I change them anyway, I replaced them with NGK Laser Iridium and that fixed my issue right away.
