Drop, wheels, akebonos (but not just yet)
Drop, wheels, akebonos (but not just yet)
Not sure what to do. Looking to do 19's, coilovers, and akebonos this year sometime. Only problem is cash is tight and will be for a few more months. My front tires have about 4k miles or so left on them, rears are new as of February. So I'll be needing at least 2 new tires soon, but don't want to invest money into something that will be off the car soon. Also, brake judder is back (32k miles) and dealer doesn't seem willing to get it covered under warranty or tsb. Need to do a brake job soon as well. Once again, don't want to drop money on something that will be replaced with akebonos.
So to fit the akebonos, I'll need new wheels or spacers on the current wheels to fit the brakes. But doing either of those to fit the brakes looks bad without a drop. I was thinking the best way to go about it is coils first, then spacers, then brakes, followed by wheels last. Probably would have to shell out for new front tires if I go this route, but I guess it wouldn't be too bad.
Let me know what you all think.

Im kind of on the same boat, except i already have drop and wheels lol. Bro safety first. Get new brakes or shell out on akebono bbk. Then get your tires, and then coils or wheels.
I want an exhaust but what good is an exhaust when you cant stop your car lol. So akebonos it is for me
Good luck

No akebonos, just the regular non sport brakes. Dropped car off at dealer today to get a few things done under warranty, including the brake judder. So it looks like front tires and saving to get a good set of 19s is the way to go.
