It does not matter: cut or not. For VQ37 manual clearly states use premium only.
For VQ35 - the regular is also accepted. That's my point.

As long as they don't put Diesel in their tanks. LOL. See how far they get w/ that.

I'm not arguing with you here but it's you who used the word 'only'. The manual does not state 'only' use 91 for the VQ37, not anywhere.
We can use 87, temporarily, but what is temporary to some may not be the same to others.

Premium is the only thing that touches my gas tank! I am too afraid of doing anything that will screw up my engine.

I just fill it up with premium and away I go.

Always gonna need to drive. Always gonna need gas. I dont even pay attention to how much it costs. I just adjust my driving to make it go a little further.

I did not take my cars to the race track but have had a lot of fun (and I mean it!) with them.
...

for the VQ35, the owner's manual states:...you may use unleaded regular gasoline with...a decrease in performance.
So sad.

Think of how much more fun you could have been having with your car had you only used the correct fuel from the beginning.

Premium all the way! I haven't read a reason for or against it, but for my own peace of mind I may as well. I'd put regular on my wife's Camry, my G gets the treatment!

The money people think they're saving when buying gas for $0.10 less a gallon is actually costing them more in the long run when you take into consideration the fact that our cars run less efficiently on lesser octane fuels.
Whatever.... If someone is so broke that they need to save $2.00 at the pump, the G is probably the wrong car to begin with.

That's a valid point! On my next G (new generation of course) I'll use premium only .

I'm sincerely curious. Would you (or others) feel the same way if the difference is $0.58 per gallon?
I use premium but I understand how it could add up to a significant amount over the year for some. A couple tanks a week is over $1200/year. If they lease then they probably won't care as much for a vehicle they won't have in a few years but that's another side of the coin.

you also have to consider the way the car "feels" when driving with regular compared to premium. but i don't know how you'd put a $ value on that.

I agree. In Mass you barely see 91. I normally stick with Shell V-Power or Mobil Super+ Unleaded — Octane 93.
