G35X potential issues when lowering??

So after 2 weeks of looking at pretty much every thread Im ready to drop my 2007 G35x. But I have one last question/ issue that I can't seem to find. I'm going to be lowering my car on B&G springs and it's a pretty decent drop. being that I live in the suburbs of Philly and go I school in the poconnos the roads can get pretty messy. For those of you who have dropped their G35x's have you had any problems with the differential being so low (or any significant problems in general?)/ any suggestions for me before I lower my car. I plan on putting 19's on over the summer when I get some cash. Thanks for the input! Mike

just keep an eye on those sewers! other then that you still should have significant clearance especially if you go up to 19's

How much of a drop are B&G springs for the X?

For reference, I lowered my 07 G35X 7/8" (370Z springs) and the differential was only 3" from the ground after that. That was enough for me. In the winter it was often scraping the snowing roads.

Mounting 19's on the G won't make any difference in ground clearance. The diameter of the tire is supposed to be the same as OEM, regardless of wheel size or you create a issue of the speedometer being inaccurate.

Use the search fucntion, theres a whole thread/sticky about lowering X's, as well as a word document with aggregated data on model(S, X, journey), suspension setup, and wheel selection.

PM me your email address and I'll forward the document.

I believe the B&G's are a 1.4 drop and they settle to I think 1.8.. Not 100% possitive.
