i have an addiction...to intakes

yup, im doing it AGAIN. For probably the 6th time I am swapping intakes again out of boredom. Those who know my history, know this is a twice a year event. I am going back to R2C (so my HPS intake tubes are for sale). Going back to R2C to spice up my engine bay and get some growl back. just thought id share

Which intakes have you tried? Why do you like R2C the best? I've tried a few different combos but some make my aftermarket exhaust too loud.

I think people like R2C because it isn't heat soak prone metal.

Maybe all this changing and going back and forth, you should just keep it in your collection.

ive tried everything but the Stillen Gen 3 and the Injen Cold Air Long Tubes.

best of the bunch is HPS and R2C.

its terms of performance and bang for buck, HPS is where its at. HPS improves throttle response right away with no negatives. I want sound and different look for the engine bay though so I am going with R2C.

After installing and maintaining the stillen g3's I have gotten curious to see what injen offers on their CAI but what if I don't like it? I don't want to deal with the hassle of fitting the stillen CAI again. Horrible fitment issues. Theres 5 places where the intake needs to be insulated just so that all the vibration doesn't eat through the intake pipe. Love everything else about it though. BTW I think you just like to work on cars thats why lol

I wonder why it isn't popular on this forum. I checked "Marketplace" and nothing showed up in the history.
