Do you have to disconnect the gyro thing to do this?

OP have you checked your Diff Fluid? That can easily over heat the fluid, just an FYI.

Looks like fun

DamnInfinite, first vid was with my Volks and Hankook V12 Evo's (275mm rear)
Second vid was with my stock wheels and dead 4 year old factory potenza's (245mm rear)

freakta, no need to disconnect the ABLS, although I did feel it sometimes at high speed and high angle drifts. Also, if you brake mid-drift to slow the car down it will re-activate traction control.

thescreensavers, Do you mean the LSD oil inside the diff itself or the oil inside the housing? Either way I haven't checked either of them since I'm due for a change soon.

salvador312, thanks and yeah I'd recommend buying a beater or wait till the G becomes a beater lol.

Q8, did you check your alignment every year or after each drift? From the past 2 years, I did a few circle drifts in an open parking lot and I had to do alignment on my car every year. This year I don't drift and the alignment is off very little. The drifting hurts the alignment on my car in my experience. Does anyone have the same issue?

There is no LSD oil, its a viscus coupling which can go bad but its not what I am talking about. I am talking about the Oil inside the housing.

Phalanx, I replaced my tires afterwards and so I did new balancing + alignment.
thescreensavers, haven't checked but it works just fine. Will be replacing the oil soon anyway.

I probably just posted in the wrong section but being it's "drift" related... here I am this past April in my V35 Coupe! I still need to buff the right rear fender (as shown in the video)..

(To see more of my Nissan drifting vids past & current @ Youtube, search "foreverdr1ft")
