probably just the led starting to die out or a loose connection, but dont expect the dealership to fix it unless u can 'replicate the problem' in front of them

^ depends on the dealership, i had a issue with my brothers TL and recorded the 'problem' since it didnt happen all the time but the dealership said that they have to witness the problem themselves to perform repairs under warranty on the other hand this strategy worked when my old projection tv started acting up at times, though the tv didnt act up when the tech showed up, he was satisfied by the pics i had taken and performed the repair under warranty

Don't worry, it'll soon go out for good (like mine), so you'll have no prob getting it fixed lol

Just FYI they more than likely will not replace your scratched shift **** under warranty, they will tell you it is wear/tear.
