Recieved my fog light today and got it installed. Enjoy the pics and feel free to ask some questions. I'm going to post up night pics later

Wow looks great!
Ques:
- Did the template come with the light? Or did you make one?
- How did you mount it? Screws?
- Is it counter sunk? Or Flush?
- Did it come with a switch? How are you controlling on/off functions?

Only thing I don't like is that is sticking one!! Maybe mold to the diffuser it would look way better! Or at least flush!!

- He just made a custom bracket and bolted on to the light and the bumper
- It's definitely not flush, but it looks better. You can't make this fit flush without body work
- It's wired to my tag lights so its constantly on

It's near impossible to get it flush without body work! You can't even run a U.S tag if you put it in the Japanese and Euro locations. I'll post pics of the fitment later today.Originally Posted by salvador312

^+1, looks nice but id rather have it wired with my brake light when pressed, i know it defeats the purpose of it being a 'fog light' but i doubt that most people would install this for that reason.
Some more pictures.
How it looks from the side. It's not flush, but i prefer how this looks. You can't make this flush without some bodywork

4 - 5 car lengths away

never liked the slit in the autokits diffuser so the lamp improves the look there

Thank you very much! Yup the slit was just pointless, but this really removes 80% of the empty spaceOriginally Posted by bat6wc

. Like i said, this was the best option without going into the bumper. I maybe upgrading to a G37 sedan 6mt later this year, so it's the logical way to do things.Update pic of it at night

my input for what its worth....what about installing an on/off switch for it, that way you can make it a true rear fog and turn that thing on only when needed. or, i would just leave it unwired and just use as a reflector. im just not feeling it always being on. def the only G in the states rockin this tho!

A few people have told me this, but I prefer it constantly on. This is how it is on a 370Z and I like it. Thanks for the input though Originally Posted by bat6wc

pretty sure in europe/mid east they are switched just like in german cars. Switch on during bad weather.
