I have a 2007 G35 Sport. I am fairly new to the forum but I recently had my battery changed at Firestone a few weeks ago. I didn't realize it until after I left but my car no longer beeps to let me know the fob is still in the car or when I lock or unlock the car using the button on the door. The horn does honk when I use the fob to lock the door so the battery in the fob is still good. I am wondering if they blew a fuse when changing the battery or is there a setting that was accidentally changed. Could someone please help or provide some advice, I would hate to have to take it to the dealership?

 

You need to reset the fob to make the sound audible again. It was hold down lock/unlock on the fob at the same time (gotta search, I forget exactly how).

I believe if you just click on setting on your car console, you can change the audible sounds from those options. let us know how you fix it! thanks

Tried both suggestions, holding the lock and unlock button together only enabled and disabled the horn when the car is locked. And I didn't see anywhere under the settings for audible sounds that would solve this issue..... May have to take it to the dealership after all
