Getting my G in spec
Getting my G in spec
I lowered my 07 G35X about 3 weeks ago by having an Eibach Pro lowering kit installed.
Now I just took it to a shop for an alignment and was told that the camber could not be brought to spec.
Report:
Front left camber - 1.6
Front right camber -1.2
Front left toe - 0.2
Front right toe - 0.2
Rear left camber -1.9
Rear right camber - 1.9
Rear left toe - 0.5
Rear right toe - 0.5
He mentioned that I'll need a $240 kit to bring it back to spec, however Eibach's website has the 5.72265K for $80. Am I being up-sold, or is he right?

Actually, the 5.72265K can be found for $55 (on TireRack). While that is much cheaper than $240, the 5.72265k is only for the rear wheels. So you'd need to pick up a set made for the front, which happens to be more pricey... Together I can imagine they could be $240, though he probably isn't gonna use the Eibach kit
your fine. you should have no tire wear at all after the alignment, if thats what your worryed about.all of your wheels are toed in so that compensates for the camber, your cambers not bad at all.
