My new to me 07G35s, and a problem

Hello all, ive been lurkin on the forums for a minute now and decided to make an account cuz i just got my g today. I dont know much about cars but am trying to learn. I bought this as a reconstructed title, but made sure to get
it checked out by my mechanic and she said "the car is in excellent condition, looks new". Its an 07 with 75k miles on it, has premium package no nav and I paid $12,500, which I thought was a decent deal. Im having one huge
problem, to me anyways. The AUX port doesnt seem to work. I bought http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC748ZM/A that exact cord hooked it up and when I go to play music is sounds like its trying to come out but that its like
muzzled really bad or something and you can hear little static and like bass is trying to come out. Video will not show up on the screen either, and yes the park break is on. Im hoping its nothing internal and just the aux port is
broken or something? Anyone have experience on this or had similar problem? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Well sadly I opted for the slightly cheaper option of using generic RCA cables to connect my ipod. Thats never failed although I dont get video (not a problem for me).

Do you get any output from AUX at all? Even the "video playback will resume when the vehicle had stopped"??

SOund wise i bet you are hearing a ground loop. Unplug your mp3 player from the power source and try to play music again. If the static and bass go away all you need to get is a 3.5mm ground loop isolator cable. They are pretty cheap (20 bucks).
