Vinyl carbon wrap grill

Finally got this done, it's 3m Scotchprint 1080 carbon fiber auto wrap. I've done several vinyl projects so this one wasn't too bad. Snipers' grill pic helped quite a bit, took a couple hours. Glad to finally get rid of my plastidipped grill, stuff was just too tough to clean and easy to peel when rocks hit it. Next up is carbon mirror cover, rear valence and then painted headlights so I'll be removing those light overlays

That only took an hour and a half? Nice! It took me a solid two hours just to outline and cut the vinyl for my window wrap... and I still screwed it up in some spots

Looks great!! 100x times better than plasti dip! Those overlays hurt my eyes! I hope you get those headlights done soon! I've been wanting to wrap my interior pieces!

Thanks, those emblemless grills are sweet, vinyl wrap would look great on one IMO.

It took a couple hours actually, after those BlueBat overlays this was a piece of cake

I think the Carbon fiber would look pretty nice on most G paint colors, it's a pretty subtle contrast on my Black G but it's about the perfect look I was going for, not too drastic but still unique. I'm wrapping my mirrors next so having just a bit more should blend well. thanks for the kind words.

LOL, at least the overlays hopefully kept the lenses from any more pits & dings. Can't wait to get the lights painted along w/ new STi-R lenses, should be done in a couple weeks. Thanks for the kind words Sal
