^depends. if its a 528 then its the slower engine. 535 is the twin turbo engine,. both techinically have lower hp but the turbo engine makes power faster at lower rpms

they dropped it because of the new model, not for north american market.
regardless the reaction of north american market, nissan sells a lot more G25 in Japan and China than G37.
in fact they infiniti dropped M37 in China, and only sell M25L&M35hL, M56 never gets out of North America. there are markets demand lower capacity engine.

Well that was the point of my post. I've written it clearly for the North American/USA markets. In fact, Infiniti doesn't exist in many countries, and are sold as Nissan instead.

Obviously they'll sell other different models in different countries, but in the US, they're getting rid of the G25, which makes perfect sense. The mentality of the Infiniti brand in the US is not an engine with lower power.

What are you talking about. Infiniti is sold in 47 Countries world wide. The only place you really see Infiniti's with Nissan badges is in Japan where there is no Infiniti.

Get your facts right!

Sorry about that, I'm linking Infiniti to Acura, where many countries don't use the Acura brand and go with Honda instead.

In England, Acura doesn't exist, but the Honda models of the Acura do.
