I went to navigation.com to get info about the newest update. Its 100$, and theres a sheet on there that states the dealer must do the update. Can someone confirm ? Can we do it ourselves ? Is there a guide online anywhere ?

Dealer has to load it for you. Only the 2010+ sedans can be done by the owners.

 

I wonder why though ? Do u have an approx of how much they would charge ?

 

I wonder if its worth updating . Any new features or just map updates ?

Had my map updated last year. Def worth it for me since my navi was routing me all crazy directions before the update.

 

at the dealership, going rates, are going to run you about $80 (us) to 120$ (others)

 

Been thinking about it. I got the proclip to mount my iphone and I will use that instead. Mainly becuase of the garmin app which has google search built in for easy destination lookup.
