my zspeed slave is still going with my jwt clutch, i blew a new oem slave in a few weeks, i would recommend the upgrade to zspeed, as labor is expensive....

Update post, October 3 2012. the Zspeed HD csc is still smooth and excellent, have put almost about 25000 km on it since install. I'm planning to re bleed it soon (per intructions) to flush any moisture out as it is a metal unit not plastic like oem.

HMMM . . . Re-reading the previous posts made me want to clarify whether the service rep said that the VIN number wasn't included in the recall, or if it had already been performed on that VIN so it wasn't covered again.

Il have to check on the clucth if it came with it and when I called the dealer and gave my vin he said there is open recalls on my car

Wait . . . If there is an open recall, then it should be covered. Or was that a typo??

^ i think its a typo he did say first that the dealer said there was no recall on his car...

@Fendi35: let us know how it goes and make sure they get all the air out of the system after install and use DOT4(compatible with dot3) which has a bit higher boiling point which can only help

Well when they change the slave they will automatically be adding new fluid in their so its not technically a flush but rather a refill in which case any good mechanic would properly bleed the air out using the bleeder valve on the slave after install

^ actually it did, it was a revised slave cylinder which does not fail like the old one after continuous city driving

Update: Got my car finnaly done omg what a difference. Car is a lot smoother now and the chatter noise from when my car is neutral it's pretty much gone can't hear a thing. even the gears now are a lot more smoother. I have no idea why was it like it was before but not that's all said and done I'm really happy.

Thank you all once again for your input.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering how the heck a new slave cylinder would have any effect of that.
