Stealership lost my OEM wheel key...

I had to get service for out of warranty headlight problems. They charged me $120 for just simple test and out the door... These idiots in service didn't give me back my wheel lock key back...

I had flat today and I had to break my wheel lock to get it off...

Now I am seriously pissed, because it's been about a month since the service, and I will demand and tell them to give me a new set of wheel locks. This is obsoletely ridiculous.

I went to Willow Grove, PA infiniti dealership. This place is horror... I hate the people who works there, and they don't even have any clue at their job. Since I am only 24, driving a G... They look down on me.

Any tips on how to approach these idiots? I am seriously pissed about this situation.

eh why did they had the wheel lock in the first place? Don't need one to work on the headlights. Don't think you can do anything since its been a month. But you can always try. just don't be angry when explaning the situation. If all fails then take the service managers's name down and report everything to the higher ups at nissan headquarters.

That's what I thought too... but it's definitely gone... and last place i've been to was the visit to stealership. I had no reasons to take out of tires up until flat tire...

okay, so i'll definitely try to work with them, but if not I will most likely sent it to higher ups.

Thanks, and i'll keep you guys updated.

They shouldn't give you a hard time. A set goes for around 45 bucks.

Get gorilla locks from amazon. I got all 4 for under 15 bucks. Dealer locks suck anyway and are overpriced

Anytime you bring your car to the dealer regardless of the service they do the 45 point check. Which they check brake pad thickness which they take the Rims off.

That really sucks. It depends on the dealer; some of them will be mean and say you might have lost it in the one month between you left the dealer and now. Some dealers are nice and will give you an extra set.

I'm not holding my breath though.

For the same price, you can get a whole new set which is superior to the stock Infiniti key

Amazon Amazon

I have these and love them.

It doesn't matter that he gets a key. He still needs a new lug nut because he broke the one with the key off to take off the wheel.

He needs a whole new set of wheel locks.

Yeah, which probably makes me doubt the dealer will give him a whole new set free. They're probably going to blame him losing it instead of the dealer, especially if it's been a month since then.

Anything could have happened to it since then.

Just get a socket slightly smaller than the lug and hammer it in. Then spin it out
