Stalling issue, need help.
Hi everyone,
I have a 08' g35x I've been running into this issue when the car is at about 1100 rpm it will stall out, if I don't give it enough gas. I am just wondering if anyone has ran into a similar problem with their G I do not have a extended warranty and the car only has 33k on it. I was just recently told that I can go to infiniti and get a diagonostics on the car for $100 to find out what is wrong with the car. Any suggestions or feedback is more than welcome thanks!

From what iv seen in the past its a dirty TB 99% of the time. HERE is a DIY on it here but do it at your own risk. I say that because while the cleaning is really simple, the TB at times requires a throttle relearn procedure(also listed in the DIY thread) that some people are unable to perform even after many tries.
Its not hard but requires patience and timing.

I had a similar issue on my R33 Skyline (yes I know it's not a V but it is a Skyline) and the problem was with the MAF sensor. Only way to tell is to get a mechanic to throw his computer on it. Used to really **** me off, would stall all the time and eventually wouldn't start at all - took about 1 month to progress from stalling to not starting
Hmm, your car should still be under powertrain warranty, which should still be covered.
The diagnostic fee is $100 if your car falls out of warranty, but it is also applied to the cost of repairs. They'll refund the money back to you if they find out the problem falls under powertrain. Make sure the problem can be duplicated, though.
