In a roundabout way...we all put oil in our exhaust. Very little.... non-the-less.
I have straight pipes after my resonators, so I had a very distinct sound.
After the oil change, it sounded different.
Maybe the oil change affected my V-tech or my muffler bearings.
I don't think you understand how exhaust note works....It has nothing to do with oil. It all has to do with air traveling under pressure throughout your exhaust.
There's a possibility you might have a leak somewhere along your air intake/ exhaust that caused the different sound.
