Calipers

So I bought hawk pads and stoptech f/r drilled and slotted rotors. I am trying to by calipers now and for some reason I am being told I can't by anything besides stock calipers! Does this make sense? I just want an upgrade and something that will look and ride right.

If you purchased the stock size pads and rotors then only the stock size calipers will fit. If you have yet to open them, return everything and then buy a set Akebono BBKs from a vendor on this site. Or try to find a used set of Bembros from early model Gs or Zs. Or you can try and get the whole set up off of a G37.

^whs, u would need an entire new BBK kit with larger rotors. If you want to keep the OEM size rotors and pads then you would have to stay with OEM calipers, maybe just paint them if you want them to stand out.

Also if you get a BBK be sure it will fit under your wheels...

^ if youre talking about the G37 Sports OEM Akebono BBK that come stock from the factory then yes they will fit perfect as long as you get the entire kit(rotors, pads, calipers, other small brake hardware).

FYI if you plan to go with Z1 SS lines then you need another part that u have to buy separate, theres a recent thread on that here.
