Noobie ALERT!

Hey everybody

I have been lurking and searching on here for a few weeks. I bought a 2008 G35x with 15k miles on it, and I purely love this car.

I have been an F-body fan (still am) forever. I sold my 3rd Gen Camaro back in May, it had a 427SBC solid roller putting 550rw/535tq at the wheels. I have an 05 Jeep LJ (Sahara Edt.) built as well, but I need something that very comfortable and yet sporty!

I first started looking at the C350 Sport, love the look aggressive, sleek... test drove it.. seats suck, hp was ok, nothing to write home about.

Then I saw the G ride and said I want to test drive that.....well you know how the story ends here!! The color Dark Grey Metallic (K52)

I have done the vid mod so I can use my iPhone as the Nav., I also Plasti-dipped the rear bottom valance just above the exhaust. Its very subtle and unless you know its not supposed to be there.. looks factory!

I want to get the Ebiach Pro kit soon and some wheels. I just put new GY Eagle GT tires on the car and wow do this tires rock, very quiet, stick in the corners and in rain the feel is stable, plus the AWD doesn't seem to hurt too. It is really hard to keep the foot out it thru town.. which I like tho!!

Future mods I would like to TT the car to give me that lil extra I crave for in the hp dept.

Thanks for reading is you got this far! LOL!!

Rick

Wow, awesome finding an 08 w/ only 15k miles. Welcome to the site & post some pics when you can. You might also consider Swift springs for your X, it seems that many prefer them over the Eibachs for the X as it's a more even drop. There should be some threads on them if you check the search feature. Glad you're liking your new VQ, they really sound sweet w/ an exhaust mod.
Cheers!

Wow! 15k miles? Looks like that was a church car. You got a great g w/ that kind of miles.
