2007 G35 S Sedan "sounds like a diesel "???
At 1200 RPM, either in Park or driving slowly ,my G makes this knocking noise , kinda sounds like a diesel. If i let go of gas,or if i accelerate, it stops immediatly.??

I don't know what your problem is but I am very surprised one of our more knowledgable members hasn't answered you yet. I can assure you that the sound you are hearing is not normal.

I wonder if anybody else with the same year and model can reproduce this sound at 1200-1300 RPM.
