Finally got my first luxury car!!

Just wanted to introduce myself! I'm Tony, I live in the Philadelphia area. I picked up a 07 G35x full loaded with the technology package. Had it for three days now, and I love it. Drives awesome, gas is sooo sensitive! I went from a 1996 Nissan Maxima SE 5 speed. It's like night and day. A few questions I had about the car was, is there a way to chime the seat belts if I don't wear it. I tend to forget sometimes, and want to annoy my passenger to wear it. Also how do I check my tire pressure gauge through my navigation? Here are some pics I snapped with my phone

congrats man, I don't think you can check your exact tire pressure from the nav unit, it only tells you that they're out of normal parameters

Welcome!! and a very handsome sedan they are, and you have! Like maizer said just check em normal, the car will only tell you when there low by low tire indicator in dash, and i'm pretty sure in 07 there were NO dings, or chimes, for not buckling up, just another subtle light on dash, I have autocrossed mine, drag raced it, did some ice driving schools with it,, they can truely to it all!!!

Congrats! I have an 08x and I absolutely love it, as I'm sure you love yours also. It's a great car, reliable, quick and comfortable. Only complaint is that I average 20mpg, but I drive it little, and every time I do it feels like the first time. Enjoy your G!

how do you feel about going from driving manual to auto? I find the pedal too sensitive, but it's a bit fun because it's sporty and I sometimes get a whiplash even though I wasn't intending to.... electronic throttles these days... nice colour choice by the way, I never seen that colour on a G where I live.

Thanks guys! I love it. I haven't done much to it yet. I just got the car tinted 20% all around in South Philly. Changed all the interior bulbs to white LEDS and the license plate light. Other then that, I don't know what to do next. Yes, the gas is very sensitive. Takes awhile to get used it. Going from stick to automatic is a big change. Yes, it's not as fun anymore. But I get stuck in a lot of traffic heading to and home from work. Makes it a lot easier for me. Gas is just wow, this thing drinks it like water. I thought my Maxima was bad, it averaged about 24mpg highway. Quick question, where can I find those G35 driver decals at?!

I think you need to purchase a premium membership on the boards. Congratz on the X, I love mine a lot.

Let's not talk about gas hogs, I had a Mini Cooper S before my G. I'm always at the pump now, but heck it don't bother me since I love this car.

Welcome to the G community! Sorry no chimes here. Just a red light on your dash. I think only Toyata's do that.
