Chrome Wheels Chipping..

Hey guys,

Going into my 3rd year of running the Iforged Estoril 19" chrome wheels and they are starting to chip/peel in some areas of the lip. The best solution is to have the wheels re-chromed, but this can be costly. Does anyone here have a better solution? I would also be in favor of powder coating the wheels since this would be most cost efficient. Any other options? Please let me know. Pictures of the car below

Thanks in advance!

Get them powder coated a different color?

Personally I find chrome ugly and tacky.

Powder coating is a good way to go, but because you have a chrome wheel, they will charge you more to remove the chrome. Call around and see who has the best deal. I had to call about 20 places to find one that had a great price. Most of them wanted extra for sand blasting, or extra for the actual powder. The guy I went with had an all inclusive price. I got a set of 20" Staggered wheels done in gloss black.
