woops, broke cup holder lid lol

I've got a 07 base sedan. Just in case its important to know that. But anyway I broke whatever clip holds the cup holder lid down when u push it down. I was just trying to use some small magnets to hold the lid down but it failed pretty bad lol so I got 2 questions:

Has anyone bought a cupholder or center console from a website like infinitiparts and it came with the cup holder lid attached to it?

Weird how they want less for the center console which includes the cupholder than they do for just the cupholder

And does anybody know of a DIY for actually fixing this problem ?

Thank u for any help!

You don't mention, if you have Automatic or Manual,
in any sense, the whole console doesn't come with the cupholder,
the cupholders are available
the range from $115.00 to $130.00 depending on what you have,
if you can't get it anywhere else, PM me your VIN number and I can give you a quote

Thanks!

I have a G35X AT 2008 and it has the cup holder lid as the OP stated. (The dual cup holder near the armrest with magnetic lid)

Unless he's talking about a different one.

no you misunderstood what I meant,
I meant the Automatic console doesn't come with the cupholder and the manual does

Thought I put automatic sry, but yea I'm talking about the horizontal dual cup holder above the arm rest ok so what it sounds like is I need to just buy the cup holder and that should come with the lid if bought new

Yes, that's correct, if you order the cup holder, the lid should come attached,
some of these I have in stock, if you PM me your VIN I can tell you the PN# you need, and price you one here if you'd like
