Just bought an 07 G35S Sedan 6MT...
...and I am in love! I've been driving an 03 G35 Sedan 6MT for the past 3 years and this is a fantastic upgrade. It looks, sounds, and feels beautiful. This car has the Premium Package and Navigation Package. 40,000 miles, clean title. I got it from Competition Infiniti in Long Island, NY for $19,995. After searching for a 07/08 6MT for nearly 2 months on autotrader, cars.com, craigslist, ebay, and other sites, this was the best deal I found. What do you think?
A few questions: 1. The Service book says there are 3 service plans to choose from: The Premium Plan, Schedule 1, or Schedule 2. Which plan do you follow, and why?
2. Also, I noticed that in the service book it recommends to change the oil every 3,750 miles if you follow the Premium or Schedule 1 service plan, and every 7,500 miles if you follow the Schedule 2 plan. I used to change the oil every 3,000 miles on my 2003. Do you follow your chosen service plan accurately in terms of oil changes or do you change the oil more frequently than what is recommended? and Why?
3. When listening to music from the Music Box or from a CD, how do you fast forward a song? lol
4. Must I play an entire cd from beginning to end in order for it to be recorded onto the Music Box? I must be missing something obvious
5. What do these cars typically run in the 1/4 mile? 0-60? any links would be great!
Thankyou in advance!!! I have attached a few pics of my new (used) car:

Premium, its a personal preference thing really and if you drive a lot in the city then its better else if use syn and have a lot of hwy then you can extend the change

i do every 4-5k depends on the oil you use and everyone has their own prefs as you will see in THOUSANDS of oil threads here, if you use any brand name full syn id say 5k is good but some ppl drive 7.5k without issues and have the oil tested.
3. When listening to music from the Music Box or from a CD, how do you fast forward a song? lol
press and hold the down arrow seek button on the left side of the cluster
4. Must I play an entire cd from beginning to end in order for it to be recorded onto the Music Box? I must be missing something obvious
Yes, it plays through form beginning when recording
5. What do these cars typically run in the 1/4 mile? 0-60? any links would be great!
Check out edmunds, car&driver and of course dragtimes.com on average the MTs are around 5.2-5.5sec 0-60 and 13.5-13.7 1/4mile

You don't have to play the whole thing to record it. It will record faster than real time (like ripping a CD to your computer.) Just hit the record button and then you can go to another input while it's ripping. It will rip even faster if you don't listen to the CD you are ripping or listen to the Music Box (what it's ripping from and what it's ripping to). On mine, I have the Music box set to automatically start ripping when I insert a CD - I think it's under the "Menu" button and "Settings" when you're on the Music box source. It usually doesn't take more than a few minutes to rip a CD. You'll know it's done when the "Rec CD" indicator goes off - it shows no matter what source you are listening to.

Thanks again everyone! I'm very happy with the car! When I was still searching, my brother told me to pass up on this car and wait for one to pop up on craigslist with under 40k miles for around $14,000. I didn't feel like searching day after day for a deal that may never happen so I decided to jump on this. I should show him this thread!!!
