I recently got into an accident and need to replace my rear bumper/cover. I've had a few shops give me an estimate from $900-1400 to either replacing a brand new bumper or trying to fix the huge crack. I'm thinking of just replacing it with a brand new stock bumper but maybe thinking of getting some aftermarket bumper? any advice/opinions would be great guys. And any sites that sell aftermarket bumpers for the 2007 g35x?

 

I'm not sure if aftermarkets are available for rear bumpers, but I replaced mine @ $750. The estimate you got is a bit too high imo. And I live in Hawaii, where everything is marked up.

 

Have you considered calling auto wreckers? They might have a bumper from a frontal accident. I forget the years but I think all rear bumpers fit for 2007 to 2011. Somebody can perhaps chime on this, I might be mistaken.

Some idiot rear ended my S4 2002 in a commercial parking lot. Audi wanted $1 000 for rear bumper sprayed. Found one at a scrapper for $150 and cost me $100 to get it sprayed, so spent $250 total.

Well worth the look if you ask me.

The 2007-2009 rear bumper covers are the same. 2010+ are different but are interchangeable and will fit the 2007-2009.
