Getting my G35xs tomorrow!!!

Hi guys, first time on the forums and soon to be a first time Infiniti Owner.

I come from the dark and shady world of BMW. I used to own a 2002 540i Sedan before i started looking at Infiniti.

This is the car i am buying http://www.erickseninfiniti.com/inve...edan/2988/207/

I did get them to reduce the price by $1000 so far. But i was told last night that i just got approved so the ***** i my court. Please tell me if this price is ok, im getting its for $26,888 but there is possibility for me to reduce the price.

Since i do not know much about Infinitis yet, the one I chose does not have a micro sd slot does that mean it has no nav as well?

I test drove the car and its a dream, I will also be moving to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada for business purposes in one months time.

I was really sold on the whole idea of being able to rip my cds to my HDD in the car but turns out that is only available with the Nav package.

I will be getting a list of all the options that will be coming with my car.

The price compared to USA is quite high I understand and its also high compared to Eastern Canada ( Toronto ) but this is the only Infiniti within my 100km radius.

Any Info or help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

I would pass. WAYY too expensive for a 2008 with 76k without Nav. You can find them in the 17-22k range with those specs. I would keep shopping around if I where you.

From what I saw on the pictures, you have the Premium package but not Tech or Nav.

I bought my 2008 G35X with 70k without nav but has the premium package like yours for $17k in June. I live in Toronto as well.

I understand man, i grew up in the GTA myself as well. But now im in Edmonton and there are not many for me to pick from unless its a newer G37 but even those are more than 28k+

I wish i could get it from Toronto, and i have seen listings as well most of them are between 17k-22k

I think i will have to go negotiate with them tomorrow... Stupid EDMONTON!!! Canada's toilet

Now now, Edmonton's a great city. I've lived there a few years as well.

Can't you buy the car from Toronto and either come pick it up or get it shipped? Would Calgary have competitive pricing, perhaps it's worth the travel as well.

Don't get me wrong you are getting a great car & km. But I think they are taking you for a ride price wise. Are they offering any type of warranty, have you told them you might pass because you can get cheaper from Calgary or Toronto (Kinda pull their leg ya know)

I think 20-23k would sound fair for this car.

Thats true, i will have to pull their leg on the price. I really love this G35xs but it does not come with MusicBox and that was something im really in to since im a part time Dj. I did see a C350 4 Matic in white by the same dealership and i think i will be passing the G35 if they dont bend the price a little bit.

Edmonton is ok an all but to me its not a big city its all the small surrounding towns that make it in to a large city.

I can get one from Calgary as well but time is a factor for me since i also run a 24hr business in Edmonton.

Im really thinking of getting the 2008 C350 instead... even though i love the Infiniti

Lets see what happens in the morning, hopefully i drive out with a vehicle and dont have to wait any longer.

The car has a 35,000km warranty. 30k is left and 5k additional from the dealer. Its also a CPO car and they are offering me roadside assistance for 299.00. Let me know what you guys think

DEF PASS! you can get it way cheaper some where else and get the music box you want. Good luck and my advice is to offer them 22k take it or leave it! they wont pass on that!

Yeah, the price is very high compared to the prices in the US for the same car.

This is just a G35xS with the Premium Package and nothing else. I paid 28.5k for my 2007 Infiniti G35x with Premium, Nav, and Tech in May 2009 with only 21k miles. (Although this was in US.)

Based on how much LeFrenchy paid, I would say pass.

The price is too high. I see on autotrader that Calgary Hyundai has a black 08 G35xS, 68000km, asking $25k. You might want to give them a call.

I bought my 08 G35x with 15K on the odo for $25k so I would say that price is a little ridiculous. Good luck with trying to bring them down or finding something different.

LOL, So i ended up getting a 2008 C350 with AMG package. Infiniti's interior was pretty low quality and the price was not good either...

Good luck to all G35's out there, hope to see you on the road just remember the Benz is tuned to 320hp :P

My 07 G35x was $17k with 75k miles in January of this year. That price is outrageous.
