2007 g35 mpg
Hey everyone, I am looking to buy a 2007 g35. I absolutely love the car and think it beats out bmw, audi and acura for a better ride. It even rivals my friends panamera in some aspects! My main concern is MPG though. I know you don't buy a G35 for the gas mileage, but it does weigh in. Can you tell me what kind of mileage I should expect from this G35? It has 92,000 miles on it. I commute 100 miles a day and it's about 70% interstate. Thank you for your help!!

I wonder in what aspect? Price? the 5th seat belt? Reliability?
BTW, I am getting around 22mpg in "regular" mixed driving (65% Freeway, 35% local)
I am ok with that considering its a +300hp luxury sports sedan (that actually has quite a bit of "sports" in it)

These threads are all over the place on g35 forums. I tend to blame the driver/owner. Unless the person complaining is relying on the Navigation's mileage gidget, or is just bad at math, then there is clearly something faulty going on.
About 3 months ago I did about a 14 gallon "test" and achieved 24mpg for about 50/50 Hwy/city driving. This was on a 2005 6mt coupe in CA, using 91 octane, utilizing the A/C constantly (drawing electric), usually 90 degrees outside during the day (most of my driving time), drawing 400 wrms from an Amplifier occasionally, and occasionally multiple people in the car (extra weight). My G, at this point of 24mpg, had a Kinetix plenum, k&n drop-in filter, z-tube, Stillen CBE, and Osiris e-tune (useless...as I later saw the effects of an e-tune vs dynotune, on my powerband and AFR). I generally cruised at 80mph on the freeway and accelerated through the gears shifting into 2nd @ 15mph, 3rd @ 20mph, 4th @ 30mph, 5th @ 35mph, 6th @ 40mph, using a feathering gas pedal (not always, but as a general guideline).
I now have a turbo kit which made 340rwhp and 340rwtq when dyno'd last on a dynometer 224. All other parts mentioned above remain. My driving style remains the same (usually, with occasional spurts of acceleration). Here's my latest fill up: 407miles and a 16.9 gallon fill up = 24.1 mpg
Btw, I checked my speedometer versus a GPS speedometer. Almost dead on.

This sounds about right... My average mpg on the odometer is 14.9... And I've stopped speeding and I roll to red lights for the most part. 14-17 is probably what you're expecting to get
