Tire Recommendations
Hey guys,
I am in need of buying new tires in the next couple of days. Wore out the Michelin PS2 that I bought about 3 years ago. The did well and at 50K its time to change them out. I was considering just getting them at discount tire but I have looked at a lot of tires they carry and it's kind of hit or miss trying to keep the ride quiet with some of them. I have been using Michelin for years and was thinking about the MXV4 but didn't know if you guys might be able to recommend anything else.
Thanks!

Rahul,
Check out this thead : https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...mendation.html
I would also recommend reading reviews & price on tirerack because if you go to a local retailer like Town Fair Tire or Discount Tire they can price match it for you.
I am personally using Continental Eco Plus on my car and they are wearing out really quickly. Less then 30K miles on them and the tires are slipping and loosing traction. Michelin Super Sport are suppose to be good for our cars. If you can find a good deal with a discount, I would stick with those.
Good luck!

It totally depends on what your needs are. If you are looking for a really nice summer performance tire I think you couldn't go wrong with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They are a stellar performer in a lot of categories and all of my customers that have ordered them seem to like them.

I would make sure tire wear is even unless your really flush. I have had them for about 3 months to, no considerable noise, I do have a full exhaust so maybe that's why I don't hear anything. They are leaps and bounds better than the eagle gt's I had which were complete garbage in rain. I think though the best tires hands down are continental

Here's an article with pretty good coverage on the comparison:
