flickering dash clock light
flickering dash clock light
Just wondering if this is a common issue or if therre is a diy thread on how to fix this problem. Car is now out of warranty and want to know if anyone can help thanks guys.
so after taking this thing apart it turns out its an assembly and the clock works fine but the l.e.d's are out i really dont want to shell out the 200 bux to get this thing to light up again does anyone have any ideas on what kind of specialist would be able to help me here?
Mine started going out after about 3 years. I know it doesn't apply to you, but the dealer replaced it yesterday under warranty.
My guess is that it isn't a serviceable item, hence the dealer replacing the entire unit.

If the LED replacement place doesn't work out, an auto wrecking yard, or excuse me, auto "salvage" or "dismantler" as they call them nowadays should have one for far less than a new one.
