Hail damage

Hey everyone
I'm new to the 07-08 forum came from the 03-04.

I just got my G sedan used from the Insurance auction and decided to play it safe (unlike my last G) I bought a hail damaged car. So basically it drive AWESOME and no accident damage. However, the dings are all over the hood, roof, and trunk. Anyone ever deal with hail damage? Is it better to try to get it fixed or shell out the cash for a new trunk and hood and pray the roof comes out alright. Oh its black so they show big time when it's clean. I know pictures would help but its dark outside. Thanks for stopping and reading. I'll get some pics hopefully tomorrow.

Good advice - also search Paintless Dent Repair (PDR)

I got hail damage from the summer, I was considering to fix it with PDR which was 4g at dent clinic. But they were very picky about that they can repair, they said the dents that have pain damage they can't repair and the dents where its on my window pillars they can't either cause they can't get under it. So I found a body shop who will repair the dents by welding a stud onto the dents and pull them out that way, but since the car where there's dents need to be repainted I just told him to strip the whole car and paint it white. The paint job+repair costed 5g which is way better than getting PDR

Thanks for all the input so far guys. I stay in the south so it was hard to find some PDR shops but I did. Will be checking a few out this weekend. @SofakingAzn sheeeeesh thats a deep estimate. I would rather just buy a new trunk and hood and let them do the roof. How did the finished job come out???? Can you tell that the car was touched? Thanks again.

Do you have pics of the damage?

On other forums, when I've seen someone with hail damage, it's usually not a good thing as it's expensive to repair.

The car came out very nice, I posted pictures on a thread but I can't seem to find the thread now. The reason why PDR wouldn't work is because I got 8 dents on the frame just above the window and they said its almost impossible to remove them with PDR. But by welding a stud on they were able to easily get rid of it and also less damaging for interior because they don't need to drop the head liner to get underneath. The car came out like new and no fillers were used at all. It looks like a brand new car but a costume white instead of OEM white from infiniti.

1) Guess I forgot how to share photos on hear anyone got a YouTube link or something?!

2) Just got quoted 2-3 grand for the fix and I have the same amount of dents on those panels the roof trunk and hood well lets just guesstimate (real word) about 100. I think I'm just gonna close my eyes because this guy said he would throw in a 3m clear coat that will help with swirls, scratches, and rocks!

Go to an image hosting website (Photobucket, Flickr, Imageshack, Imgur, etc.), upload the photos, and post the direct URL link between . So it should look something like:

You would just need to remove the spaces (brackets touch the URL).
