sandy raped premium gas
Yeah but u had a history with ur car like I had with my ex gf.... and like me taking her *** out to taco bell in the end, ur using reg cause u r gonna sell ur car soon lol... which is understandable cause u went through hell with the stealership and ur car
I know a lot of G drivers that use only regular, I personally stick to premium due to performance. But you don't need to worry about engine damage and all that. I worked at a gas bar as a summer job and a guy in his c63 AMG filled with regular, I'm sure a G can compensate as its not a high high end car

Base model c63 has 200+ horsepower....G maybe cheaper but it has 306hp. Granted I can drive really slow, I don't think it's a good comparison to say its OK to drive with reg just cause it works on a c63... totally different engines.
With that being said, if I have to, ill use reg and feather the throttle
Anyone who uses reg gas in a $60k+ car that requires premium on purpose is a retard...

The fact is the Merc has a compression ratio around 11.3 / 1, versus the G at just 10.6 / 1. Regardless, BOTH are in the category of REQUIRING premium fuel for full performance. Running regular with an 11.3 compression ratio is like buying a thoroughbred racehorse and then tying it's feet together so it can't stretch out and run. Just because some foo..., excuse me, "guy" did it and got away without tripping the horse and breaking it's leg doesn't make it evidence that the practice is ok. Yes, if you ignore the manufacturer's recommendation and drive your car HARD while using regular gas, you can damage it; even if it's the lowly G with a mere 10.6 compression ratio.

rant:
I guess I don't get why folks want to believe that they're not shortchanging themselves (in HP, MPG, and reliability) when they run a high performance engine with cheap fuel. If it's purely financial, I can understand you gotta do what you gotta do, but at least take that into consideration when you drive it and do so accordingly. Don't pretend it makes no difference.

Omg this thing is awesome! !! Thx man
Seems like a bunch of people are just driving up to Fairfield County CT, I have seen a bunch of yellow cabs, town cars, and just regular people with NY plates filling up around here, and causing huge lines. A lot of stations were open 24-7, not sure if they still are, and if you go north of Greenwich/Stamford the lines are not bad at all. Even in Greenwich/Stamford the lines are only ~15 minutes long now as residents mostly have power back and are not filling up gas cans 2x a day. Its about a 30 minute ride though so I would only do it if I could not find 93 or if the lines were more than an hr long.
I woke up at 4am to get gas on Saturday morning to make sure I had enough to get to work today. I still waited almost 2 hours. On my way to work today, I noticed that the majority of the stations had very small lines (20 min or less), which obviously aggreviated me since I waited so long on Saturday, but made me realize that this may be coming to an end soon.
