Changed my oil from M1 to Castrol

The only real way to see a difference is if you sent your old Mobil 1 and compared it to your new oil.

True enough, but frankly, beyond a certain point . . . WHAT"S THE POINT?
Since you don't just keep your car in a glass case and never drive it (so that there is no engine wear occurring), you have already implicitly declared acceptance of the fact that you ARE going to have engine wear. Now, once you've accepted that fact, the only real relevant concern should become mitigating that wear to an acceptable level such that the engine will not suffer undue degradation before its time. You can do all the UOA's you want, but the simple reality is that for 99.9% of the cars out there, they will arrive at a junk yard one day for reasons other than those resulting from not using the ultimate oil with the ultimate UOA results. IMHO, people get a little nuts about all this stuff. Chalk it up to fantastic marketing and an apparent increase in OCD on a cultural level I guess.
Regardless of brand, if you use the correct oil spec and you change your oil routinely, with shorter intervals for dino or longer ones for synthetics, the chances of you EVER experiencing an oiling related engine issue are next to nil.

In the moornings I have some sputering when cold.
Now is gone after the Castrol Edge 5w30 and the Z-Max, I cant believe it! .
I did tried Mobil 1 0w40 and it was more sputering (after reading in Bobs the oil guide).
Also the engine sound smoother.
Gonna go to the dyno next week to see how much hp a 116K miles G35 can have (new was 245 whp stock at 88 Deg F).
Let you know the results.
Thanks to all
