info on good aftermarket HID kits
#16
This is what I am trying to say Texasscout.. Our cars 07-08 G35 Sedans all come with stock HIDs.. There was no need for Nestor for aftermarket kits.. All he needed was some 8K bulbs. And he was set.
I am guessing the shop but some cheap aftermarket kit that's the reason he is getting problems.
That's why I am asking Nestor to check his headlights see if the stock Ballast still there. No need to take off the bumper. You could see them through the wheel well. But you can't see them, taking off the bumper is really simple.

I;ve had that problem with cheap bulbs as they got older. Hit a bump and one would go out. Need to wait 3-4 mins and turn off and on the lights to get it to fire up again.
Fixed the problem by buying new bulbs, but issue would come back after a year or so. So i'd get new bulbs.
Eventually i got sick of changing cheap chinese bulbs, so I put the OEM bulbs back in. No issue since. Color looks ugly though
Point of my story it...buy quality bulbs, or put the OEM bulbs back in. You don't need to change the ballasts
