I have 164k as of today and the car is running beautifully so far.
Only problems I have/had were:
-Serpentine belt explosion @60k
-Faulty belt tensioner at 120k
-LED behind 4k rpm dead(flickers once in a while)
-Same deal with clock LED's.
-Warped rotors
-Trim (steering wheel and door handle area) peeling.
-Sunroof stuck open (fixed)
-Shifter going back to "D" after switching to DS/M mode.

Other than that it feels like the car will last at least another 50k easy. Pretty awesome considering that I've been red-lining and working my engine really hard ever since I got the car.

I think that what might be happening with me. I was driving in the rain one day and it was 30 Degrees out, it was a 8 mile short highway ride. so i pull up in front of school to pick up my daughter and while im there idling waiting, the security guard comes to my car and says that my car is overheating. He basically saw steam coming out from the front grille. (you could easily see the steam since it was cold out). i got out and it looked like the car was overheating (but my temp gauge reads normal). Should i replace my radiator cap? I always tried to explain this in the forum but everyone said its normal for our cars to let off some heat, i think its just a little too much and coming from the front. Sorry to jack your thread but please let me know if it was something similar to me.
my car does that too...did you guys replace with an oem cap?

^ as long as the temp gauge is working properly and showing normal temps then occasional steam on rainy day is in fact common and not an overheating issue

Who care's how much it's worth. Assigning a $$$ value isn't everything when it comes to cars.

What he has is a car with high miles, but one he's very familiar with and has maintained well. That's worth a lot to him I bet. I bet he's comfortable hopping in the car and driving it 100+ miles just as he did with 20K miles. There are a lot of 150K mile vehicles out there I would not drive 10 miles with.

I have 115K miles on my '06. While not as gorgeous as your's, I overmaintain it with the hopes of hitting 200K miles on it with regular maintainence.

The car is lowered on eibachs

I do have spacers upfront for the brakes. The spare doesnt fit. Learned that the hard way. But the stock sport wheel does fit with a spacer. I used that as the spare

The black lip is a the home depo lip. You can do a search on the forum for that.

Great point and in addition, "worth" is not only what you can get for it. My wife drives our '08 G35X that I drive nights/weekends. I drive a '99 Lexus RX 300 with 218,000. It's "worth" to me is not $2,500 which is the trade value. It's worth $35,000 or more as that's what I would have to pay for a replacement vehicle for her G when my Lexus dies and I get her G and have to buy her a new car.
