Quick write up. Sorry if there's grammar errors.
Over 150,000 miles and still going strong! I purchase the car used in 08 with 20,000 miles. The car is daily driven; about 50 miles around trip during the week for work in DC. I also drive it everywhere and anywhere on the weekends. The car is driven hard about everyday with no problems. The Italian tune up! In my opinion, it works. Everyone tells me I should get a beater. But my thing is, I’m a car guy and I enjoy driving my car. I would go nuts sitting in a cheap car only good on gas and not fun to drive. I need my ME time in my car after work. Hell, your working for it, gotta enjoy it.

Problems I’ve had with the car. It’s really nothing bad. I do the all the regular maintenance.

-Clutch was changed out at 105,000. JWT clutch/flywheel and the clutch throw out bearing
-Shitty stock brakes and rotors have been replaced with the Akebono brakes. (best thing I’ve done)
-Had a weird overheating problem that found out it was the radiator cap
-About 140,000 the clutch was acting funny. Would get spongy and wouldn’t want to come back up. I replaced the throw out bearing. When I put everything back to together, found out my clutch bleeder was bad and had to take everything apart again to replace the bleeder.
-Oh always used Nissan trans fluid for manuals. Used something else and the gears were grinding. Read the forums and went back to Nissans trans and went back to normal.

The body is in great shape. Paint is in decent shape. A lot of rock chips

Mods:
370z 40th anniversary edition red full brake kit with slotted rotors
370z wheels
Berk test pipes
Stillen Gen 3 intakes
Invidia exhaust
Jim Wolf Tech clutch\flywheel
JDM window visors

Sum it all up. There’s still plenty of life in the G after 150,000!

Good for you! I also believe that cars are meant to be driven and refuse to relinquish mine to another daily driver. Keep going strong! It's refreshing to see someone driving the hell out of their G.

How are the electronics holding up?

You're having pretty good luck. Btw, your car looks great.

I'm currently at 75k. I've had to replace:

Window switch
Blower motor relay
Currently have a check engine light for an evap leak (not the gas cap)
Passenger air bag sensor works intermittently

Knock on wood. No problems at all

I've personally seen this sedan and it is in very good shape. Didn't know how many miles you had on her.

My 04 sedan is also daily driven 100 miles a day in the DC metro area. Besides a little OC problem I had at 100k miles she's running better than ever. Just turned over 134k today.

Glad to hear your 07 is doing so well!

Beautiful car! loving the red too i rarely ever see that color. The more babying you do to the car the more it will **** its diapers, every car needs to be driven properly and that is what you are doing properly

+1 . . . Couldn't agree more!

A funny thing though; when I was shopping for my 6MT, the ONLY 6MT cars they ever had at the lots where I looked were RED, which I didn't want, and were test drive cars, and they all had hundreds of test-drive miles already on them. I figured there was no way I'd ever buy a car that wasn't "fresh", let alone red , so I ended up ordering one from the factory. Good to know those RED ones hold up too.

Nice to hear I've got at least 100k more life left on my ride (knock on wood). Your car looks great, hopefully I'll follow your lead. The only problem w/ our 07 Which now has 90k (sold it to a friend) was the sunroof rubber finisher and the upper door seals. My 09 and our 07 were both riddled w/ rock chips but I plan on keeping this G for awhile so if the baby needs a new paint job it'll be worth it. Thanks for the updates and you're taking nice care of your workhorse and it's being driven like it should be. Cheers to another 100k

Nice Post and amazing Car! I am 102k 08 G35x Blue slate (had it since 87k) and loving it so far. I noticed you said you had a slight over heating problem and you say its the radiator cap. I think that what might be happening with me. I was driving in the rain one day and it was 30 Degrees out, it was a 8 mile short highway ride. so i pull up in front of school to pick up my daughter and while im there idling waiting, the security guard comes to my car and says that my car is overheating. He basically saw steam coming out from the front grille. (you could easily see the steam since it was cold out). i got out and it looked like the car was overheating (but my temp gauge reads normal). Should i replace my radiator cap? I always tried to explain this in the forum but everyone said its normal for our cars to let off some heat, i think its just a little too much and coming from the front. Sorry to jack your thread but please let me know if it was something similar to me.
