Hello all,

Last month my G35 started reminding me of maintenance 1 and 2. I had the car serviced in August. Does anyone know what maintenance 1 & 2 entail so I can get it done?

 

Sorry, but we can't tell you as we know nothing about your G.
Consider the mileage, how and where you drive it, what was done to it during the August service, etc. Only you and your mechanic know.

I think you are probably just talking about the maintenance reminder function that is one of the programmable functions of the trip computer of the car. It's basically just a mileage countdown timer that you can change (or turn off) at will. Someone must have set them up and enabled them on your car at some point. Just because they go off, does not necessarily mean that you have to perform the service. Many dealer set them up as a way to send you back into theim in short order. It's all detailed in the Owners Manual, along with the factory recommended maintenance schedules; there are different shedules for different degrees of useage duty, and/or fastidiousness (see Schedule: Premium, Schedule1, and Schedule2) Happy reading.
