Stock Exhaust Tip Replacement

So I stupidly backed into a rock that damaged by driver side exhaust tip. It is a slight dent but I can't get it out of my mind.

Does anyone know if this will affect performance or the car in any other way?

I want to replace it if possible...Any suggestions on where to buy the tip and is there a DIY to do it?

If the exhaust muffler itself is fine with no bends/cracks then the chrome tip will not affect anything performance wise its just for aesthetics. All you need to do to replace them is to pull them off firmly and install the new one on. Try ebay

Thanks! You're a life saver (not the candy).

I was worried that the tips came welded from the factory!

^ haha not a problem. You might have to tug hard though if the rock pushed it straight back onto the pipe

This could be a good chance to get some cool looking ones. The motordyne ones are really nice.

So I got the replacement part. I tried just firmly pulling it out but it clearly doesn't want to come out.
I don't have any tools here at school...Do you guys think it got pushed in too much and its now a PITA to get out?
