Yes 550i is manual. The clutch is much easier to use, more like a Honda clutch. The throws are about the same because the car did not have the short throw kit.
Drives great. So quiet. No wind or tire or dashboard noise. It is much bigger and not as intimate as the G. V8 just pulls and sounds more refined. I'm still reading the owners manual trying to figure out simple functions like radio presets...
